Scott Baird - Co-Chair
Scott Baird is the former executive director for the Utah Department of Environmental Quality. He previously served as an operational excellence consultant at the Governor’s Office of Management and Budget. He holds a JD in Law, an MPA from Syracuse University, and a B.S. in marriage, family, human development from Brigham Young University.

Kerry Kelly - Co-Chair
Kerry Kelly is an assistant professor at the University of Utah. Previously, she served as a research associate and associate director for the University of Utah. She holds an M.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Sarah Wright - Utah Clean Energy
As founder and executive director of Utah Clean Energy, Sarah Wright has a proven record of accomplishment in the promotion of renewable energy and energy efficiency within the State of Utah. Sarah holds a B.S. in geology from Bradley University and an M.S. in public health from the University of Utah.

Scott Williams - HEAL Utah
Scott Williams is the executive director of HEAL Utah. Most recently, he was the chief medical officer for the Mountain Division of the Hospital Corporation of America. He supported physicians at 10 HCA hospitals in Utah, Idaho, and Alaska. Williams received a B.A. degree in american literature from the University of Utah. He went on to medical school and completed a residency in pediatrics. Afterwards, he finished a master’s of public health.

Todd Stevens - RenewableTech Ventures
Todd Stevens is the managing director at RenewableTech Ventures. He was formerly the co-owner of Salt Lake Legal. Stevens holds an MBA from Harvard University and a bachelor’s in accounting and management from the University of Utah.

Kerry Case - University of Utah
Kerry provides senior administrative leadership for strategic planning and implementation of institutional sustainability efforts at the University of Utah. She oversees the work of the Global Change and Sustainability Center (GCSC), Sustainability Office, and efforts to incorporate sustainability into the academic curriculum. She previously served as the assistant provost for integrative learning at Westminster. She earned a master’s degree in environmental studies from the University of Oregon in 2003 and a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Colorado in 1998.

Candice Hasenyager - Utah Division of Water Resources
Candice Hasenyager is the assistant director of the planning branch at the Utah Division of Water Resources. Formerly, she worked as an engineering manager. Hasenyager holds both a master’s and bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Utah State University.

Glade Sowards - Utah Division of Air Quality
Glade Sowards is an environmental scientist at the Utah Division of Air Quality. He was formerly the state energy program manager at the Utah Geological Survey. He holds an M.S. in Forestry from Michigan Technological University and a B.A. in Economics and Environmental Studies from Grinnell College.

Moriah Jackson - Jordan River Commission
Moriah Jackson is the project and program manager for the Jordan River Commission. She manages and coordinates restoration and weed management projects near the Jordan River. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Professional Studies in Horticulture and Water Conservation from Utah State University.

Michael Shea - Salt Lake County
Michael Shea is the sustainability director for Salt Lake County. He has a degree in Economics from Westminster College and a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Utah. His career background includes expertise in public policy, politics, data analysis, and environmental management. He has worked in private, non-profit, and government sectors.
