Director of Land Development

The Point of the Mountain State Land Authority is seeking a Director of Land Development to oversee development of The Point. The Director of Land Development will have lead responsibility for implementing the development agreement with the Phase I master developer and overseeing other development projects outside of the Phase I boundaries. This responsibility includes ensuring that The Point develops consistently with the framework plan, legislative direction and key vision elements. The Director of Land Development must be able to manage and implement key aspects of a complex and visible public project with skill, integrity and careful use of public resources. The successful candidate will accomplish this through a respectful, professional, constructive and energetic style, guided by the Land Authority mission and board. The position requires attention to detail, careful compliance with statutory and contractual terms, and a commitment to achieving positive long-term outcomes for Utah residents. The Director of Land Development will work with a collaborative team of staff and consultants and will report to the Executive Director.
